Building Global Dev Teams: A Manager’s Journey Through Kraków

Over the last two years I have visited Kraków, Poland and the surrounding area three times to help establish a new software development team in the city.

Poland is clearly a vibrant part of the EU, and it has a great history of all types of engineering.

Our teams in Poland have integrated with other teams around the world with great success.

I have found no unique challenges to working with our teams in Poland, aside from the moderate time zone gap between Poland and the United States.

Please enjoy some photographs I took on my walks and a few excursions with coworkers.

This place of terrible suffering was only a 10 minute walk from our office. This is the camp featured in the film Schindler’s List, which was produced close by.
